Shed light

Christ represents the infinite tearing into the finite. An awakening to true nature and being. Our lives are an incarnation. God, human, and all existence as one.

We are washed by this wondrous love Union. It crashes down upon us, within us, every single day. Fear is self-inflicted punishment. Love devours that self hatred.

An Arrow Pointing Back

“The formula to joy is not God and [blank] so much as God in [blank]….True joy derives not from God and job, family, sex, friends, food, rest, driving, buying a home, reading a book, drinking coffee — but from God in these things. . . . Every taste of beauty in this world, from the roar of waterfalls to the chatter of birds to the richness of true friendship to the ecstasy of sexual experience, is a drop from the ocean of divine beauty. Every pleasure is an arrow pointing back to him. Joy is from, and only finally in, God”

Scandalous Union

I see the world and I want to set it on fire. Not with the fires of hell and torment, but with the fires of passion. I want to kiss it, take it to bed, and whisper in its ear. Of course, the faint of heart will run out of the room and slam the door behind them, bolt it up, wrap it with caution tape, and call it ‘condemned.’ They stumble around outside in offense. They know the cornerstone as the stumbling stone, not as salvation. Sure, the world might be convinced of another reality, but I’m not. That’s why I am taking it to bed. Before the foundation of the world we were married. Even if the world has forgotten, she is still mine, and I am hers.
